Golf isn't just about golf. Golf is a great sport to learn things like values, camaraderie, etiquette and respect. High school is a time when student-athletes really begin learning about themselves and who they are in the world. As coaches, we recognize that we are uniquely positioned to have a positive impact in the lives of the student-athletes during their four years at Harriton. As an investment in their time with us, we run the annual leadership retreat. This staple of our program occurs every August. It includes our annual team and individual photoshoot, a leadership seminar with a speaker, lunch, and a practice round of golf. The event also kicks off the annual Ram Cup, a season-long intrasquad Ryder-Cup style competition. The following are the places we've been blessed to spend time in, and leaders we have been blessed to meet and learn from...

"Don't get constrained by what's possible, but master the art of the impossible. Don't quickly try and make an old model better, rather seek to make old models obsolete by creating a new model in whatever it is you're doing. Change the world around you by creating a new path, not always following an old path."
Dr. Steven Klasko (2016)
