The captaincy is an important role in the Harriton Ram Golf Program. The following criteria are considered when evaluating who can be a captain (in NO order of importance):
- In-season performance & seniority
- Off-season effort to improve through competitive events, golf camps, regular play, etc.
- Leads by example in temperament and shows an interest in mentoring others on the team
- Shows respect for teammates, Harriton coaches, and opposing coaches
- Exhibits excellent golf etiquette and respect for the golf course and the rules of golf
- Rightly prioritizes academic success off the golf course.
- Shows a motivation towards giving back to the community.
- Displays character qualities that are becoming of a leader.
Everybody on the team is held to a high standard, however the Captains are held to the highest standard and are looked to by the coaching staff to set the greatest example of the above. Below is a running list of past Varsity Captains of the Harriton Ram Golf Program.
