Thank you for your interest in the Harriton Ram Golf Program. We’re looking forward to having fun in 2026 and continuing to be competitive in the Central League! Please receive the following information regarding qualifying in 2026.
2026 QUALIFYING SCHEDULE
- The season will begin Monday August 10th. We will be doing 2 qualifying days:
- Day 1 - Monday, August 10th (18 holes)
- Day 2 - Tuesday, August 11th (18 holes)
- Both days will be at Turtle Creek Golf Club in Limerick, PA
- Tee times will begin at 9:00am each day
- Greens fees each day is $35 (to be paid on site at the golf course each day)
- A bus will be taking student-athletes who need transportation to the course at 7:30am, leaving the school from the football field parking lot. Student-athletes are permitted to be driven by their parents. Student-athletes are not permitted to drive themselves.
- You are required to play both days.
- Qualifier sign up deadline: No later than August 3rd.
- Have an established USGA GHIN handicap and/or approved international handicap with at least 20 scores posted, 10 of which must be posted in 2026.
- If you are not a member of a private club to establish a handicap, you can establish one for a nominal fee at any public course by clicking HERE.
- Read our "Core Values", "Code of Conduct", "Rules Against Gaining an Unfair Advantage", and sign where required.

- Turn in your completed PIAA physical form by August 1st through your Arbiter/Family ID account.
- Click HERE for the physical form. See below for more physical information.
- Officially register for qualifying by August 3 at 12:00pm
- Click HERE for the registration form.
- BE ADVISED: The reason the deadline is August 3rd is because there are many hard working people that go into planning the qualifiers - the Harriton golf staff, the golf course staff, the school staff, and everybody needs information in a timely manner to be able to do their job. If you do not execute everything by this deadline, you will not be able to participate in the qualifier and as a result, you will not be able to participate in our golf program.
2026 PHYSICAL INFORMATION
- Hard copies of physicals are not accepted at the school in-person, neither are photo images emailed to the Athletic Directors office. And they cannot be accepted in-person on the first day of qualifying.
- Physicals must be completed and turned in by August 1st by uploading them to the Arbiter/Family ID account you'll have created. Click HERE for this information.
- Just because a physical has been submitted, it doesn't mean you are in the clear. It must be approved by the trainer and have all the pages necessary to be approved.
- The August 1st deadline must be met because it takes time for the Harriton Athletic Trainer to review hundreds of other students' physicals.
- Physicals must not be dated prior to May 1, 2026.

WHO MAKES A TEAM?
- There won't be a leaderboard for the qualifier rounds. We don't want the kids to think of this like it's a tournament, rather as coaches we approach it more like a "combine" (think "NFL combine"). The teams aren't necessarily going to be made literally exactly how the leaderboard falls if there was a leaderboard. The teams will be made at the coaches discretion with the following criteria as a part of the process:
- Qualifier rounds (scores, etiquette, attitude, technical ability, how one carries themselves on the course, etc.)
- Previous experience/scores in the program
- Junior tour tournament experience/scores if applicable
- Handicap index
- Many years of experience has shown us that a more holistic, multi-dimensional approach like this is better for assembling our best Varsity and JV teams, than a one-dimensional approach like it would be if we just went with how the qualifier scoreboard literally falls.
HARRITON GOLF ASSOCIATION FEE
- If a student-athlete makes a team, families are required to contribute $150 per student to the Harriton Golf Association as a seasonal "entry fee" (This increase is new beginning with the 2026 season due to inflation since the last increase in 2013). Click HERE for more information about the HGA contributions.
