Every year in August, early in the season we have our annual Training Day where the Varsity team travels to our "home away from home", DuPont Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware. There we casually practice together on one of the best practice facilities in the northeast in preparation for the season followed by 18-holes of golf on their championship course, the former host of the McDonalds LPGA Championship that has produced champions like Laura Davies, Beth Daniels, Patty Sheehan, Betsy King and Julie Inkster. This is a great way to get away together, have some fun, and build cohesiveness as a team.
